Virginia has over 25 years of tax and accounting experience. She has worked primarily with businesses, partnerships, and individuals in the areas of tax compliance and general accounting. She has extensive experience helping clients with tax compliance, tax planning, and general accounting services.

Virginia’s career in public accounting began in Chicago, IL with Deloitte & Touche, where she first learned corporate, partnership, and individual taxation after graduating from DePaul University with a Master’s in Accountancy degree. She’s a native of St. Louis, Missouri, but moved west to California 25 years ago and became a California CPA. She completed her Master’s in Taxation degree from Golden Gate University and joined The Fremont Group, a privately held investments company, first as an in-house corporate Tax Manager, and ultimately became Controller of its Client Services division. Her work background comprises solid general accounting with a strong emphasis in taxation. Prior to joining Calegari and Morris in 2019, Virginia spent 3 years working at Holthouse, Carlin & Van Trigt (HCVT) as a Senior Tax Manager, specializing primarily in real estate taxation.

Virginia enjoys helping clients navigate the complexities of the tax code and works to minimize their tax liabilities. Her goal is to provide outstanding tax compliance and planning services to her clients, drawing from her extensive work background in taxation and general accounting.
