Cecilia has more than 20 years of experience in providing tax compliance and consulting services to private and public companies, high net worth individuals, and family groups. She specializes in serving clients across the financial services industry with emphasis on tax planning for domestic investment partnerships, private equity funds, venture capital companies and their investors.

Cecilia works closely with her clients to formulate tax strategies that provide maximum flexibility while minimizing the cost of operations. She also has extensive experience in accounting and, specifically, in advising clients on tax treatments in complex merger and acquisition transactions as well as entity structuring.

Cecilia started her career as an auditor before she specialized in tax. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UCLA and continued her education with a Master in Taxation from Golden Gate University. Cecilia was a Tax Director at Grant Thornton prior to joining Calegari and Morris in 2018.
