Sally graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 1980 with a BA in Business Economics and an emphasis in Accounting. Her career began with three years in audit for Ernst & Young followed by controller positions at several start-up companies. Sally then went independent and formed her own accounting practice, providing small businesses and high-net worth individuals with accounting, tax, and financial services.

In 1992, she became the VP of Finance for the Special Olympics – Northern California where she helped this great organization for several years. However she just could not stay away from public accounting and joined Collis & Ramos, an accounting firm in Danville, where she worked for seven years performing tax planning and return preparation for partnerships, corporations, and individuals. Sally then joined Calegari & Morris in 2009.
