Luigi Pinotti

A native of San Francisco's North Beach, Luigi Pinotti received his BS in accounting from the University of San Francisco. Before joining our firm, Lou held positions in the tax departments of two San Francisco accounting firms: John F. Forbes & Co. and KMG Main Hurdmann, where he was a tax supervisor. He's been with Calegari & Morris since October 1985.

Lou's clientele consists mainly of individuals, small businesses, contractors, and real estate companies. When it comes to describing Lou's approach as a CPA, "watchful" is the operative word. By keeping a close watch on his client's financial situation, he's able to point out tax savings as well as to suggest good business practices, observed over time, which can lend efficiency to his clients businesses. Lou prides himself on responding to his clients' needs in a timely fashion. He reviews his clients' situations on a weekly basis and places calls to all his clients quarterly, if not more frequently.

An active member of his community, Lou participates in a number of North Beach organizations. He serves on the Boards of Directors for the Salesian Boys & Girls Club and the Italian American Community Services Agency. He's on the Board of Trustees for the San Francisco Italian Athletic Club and is President of the Finance Committee for St. Peter's and Paul's Parish. Married for 21 years, Lou has two very athletic children who keep him and his wife very involved. An alumnus of the U.S.F. baseball team, Lou stays active in the sport by coaching at Sacred Heart High School. Add fishing and reading to this list of leisure activities, and you've got one busy man.
