Alyson Minagawa

A native Californian, Alyson Minagawa received a BA in business economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Her previous work experience includes a position as senior tax manager at Ernst & Young.

Alyson joined our firm in February 2003. After having worked for years primarily on large, multi-state consolidated corporations, when she became a member of Calegari & Morris, she opted to shift her focus and now concentrates on closely held businesses and individuals. Alyson assists on many projects here, however, providing technical reviews and information as to how to best handle multi-state taxation issues. She stays on top of her clients' needs with ongoing calls to remind them of upcoming deadlines and filing dates. She also makes a point of responding thoroughly and quickly to any questions they might have.

Skiing, hiking, and an occasional round of golf rank high on Alyson's out of the office to-do list.
