Maureen Fitzgerald

A Fulbright Scholar, as an undergraduate Maureen Fitzgerald majored in German and English, receiving her BGS from the University of Michigan. She later received a certificate in accounting, her MS in Taxation from Golden Gate University and is a CPA.  Prior to joining Calegari & Morris in March 2000, Maureen was employed as a bank examiner for the California Department of Financial Institutions and had accounting positions at Williams-Sonoma and PG&E.
As an accountant for our firm, Maureen focuses her attention on C-corporations, S-corporations, and individuals. Like everyone at Calegari & Morris, Maureen takes nothing for granted. She prides herself on being very proactive when it comes to the accuracy of the amounts on tax returns. She verifies all the numbers, discusses issues with her clients, and proposes corrections when needed.
Maureen loves to spend her time away from work exploring the city with her teenage nieces, often on foot, and she's an avid biker: "I commute to and from work on my bicycle every day, rain or shine!" Maureen Fitzgerald belongs to the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition.
