Linda Anderson

Linda Anderson received her Bachelor of Arts degree in French Language and Literature with high distinction from the University of Virginia and continued on to achieve a Masters of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. Armed with this fine education, Linda started her business career in 1993 and spent the next 10 years in cities such as Tokyo, London, Washington D.C., Dublin, and finally San Francisco serving clients and becoming an expert in expatriate and inpatriate income taxes. This knowledge was invaluable when she became a Senior Manager with Deloitte & Touche in San Francisco where Linda was responsible for several large multinational companies, advising them not only on international income tax issues but also social security and payroll tax and treaty issues. She earned her Enrolled Agent designation in 200 1 and is currently working on her Masters in Taxation at San Jose State University. She became a staff member at Calegari & Morris late summer of 2005.

Since joining us, Linda has focused her attention on C-corporations, S-corporations, and individuals. Like everyone at Calegari & Morris, she prides herself on being very proactive when it comes to the accuracy of the information on tax returns. She verifies all the numbers, discusses issues with her clients, and proposes corrections when needed.

Away from the office, Linda is an avid runner, having completed 7 marathons with the Leukemia & Lymphoma's Team in Training. She loves nothing better than spending time with her running friends on the trails of the Bay Area; her favorite running event is a 17k run on Angel Island in July. She is a real "foodie" and loves to cook and bake as well as eat out in the many great restaurants in the area.
